Versa Split Skid Steer Log Splitter

The new Versa Split from Wolfe Ridge is a sideways mounted skid steer splitter that can also be used on smaller compact tractors. SSQA mounting plate is standard and it comes with hoses and flat face quick connect hydraulic couplers. Break down huge rounds without breaking your back with a Versa Split from Wolfe Ridge.

Standard configuration builds of the Versa Split have the split chamber offset to the left. This means if you are sitting in the tractor or skid steer, you will look over to the left to see the splitting action. This configuration is what you see in the photos on this product page. We can build it the opposite way as well, just choose right offset instead of left at the time of ordering.

IMPORTANT NOTES: Cycle times will be faster with higher flow hydraulics, and splitting force will be more with higher pressure hydraulics. Lower tonnage = less splitting force but a faster cycle time. *Magnum package is standard on the Versa Split 2824 and 3030, but not available on the 1724 or 2224*

Shipping

Our skid steer splitters can ship on a pallet, or via partial flatbed / hotshot trucking. If you have a freight terminal near you we can arrange freight to that location. Or, if a semi truck can get to your address, we can arrange a shipment with liftgate service. You could also pick up your new machine from the closest Wolfe Ridge dealer. Please note:

If you have a machine shipped via partial flatbed or hotshot, you will need a piece of equipment for unloading. Such as a forklift, tractor or skid steer with pallet forks and sufficient lifting capacity.
If you have your machine shipped LTL on a pallet, we can also offer optional liftgate service. Your new machine would get unloaded at the end of your driveway closest to the road – provided a semi truck can get to your address.
