Engine Oil Change

This video shows how to change the engine oil on an older Wolfe Ridge 28C Compact Commercial log splitter. This procedure will be the same for the 22RS, 28C, 35C, 28 HO, and 35 HO. This procedure applies to the Honda GX390 gas engine.

Hydraulic Filter Replacement

Pressure Relief Adjustment

Galtech Auto Cycle Valve Adjustment

This video shows how to adjust the detents on the Galtech auto cycle valve. The Galtech auto cycle valve can be found on some 28C, 35C, and other Wolfe Ridge machines but it was used for a short period of time on these machines. Adjusting the HC valve on the box wedge machine is very similar to this procedure. *Remember to make this adjustment when the hydraulic oil is at operating temperature.

Prince Auto Cycle Valve Adjustment

This video shows how to adjust the detents on the Prince auto cycle valve. The Prince auto cycle valve can be found on current models 28C, 35C, 28 HO, 35 HO, 28 SHO, 35 SHO, 28 HDI, and 35 HDI. *Remember to make this adjustment when the hydraulic oil is at operating temperature
