Japa 505 Pro Firewood Processor

Since 1977, Japa has been manufacturing efficient and powerful firewood processors in Finland. In mid-2025, Japa signed the contract with us to setup Wolfe Ridge as the sole USA importer and distributor of Japa Firewood Processors and accessories. The Japa 505 Pro with Perfect Split can process up to 20 inch diameter, and split up to 20.5 inch lengths. Easy to use with electric over hydraulic joystick control of infeed / cut / split functions, patented Perfect Split and Perfect Clean systems, Perfect Cut, and much more. This machine is offered in three power source configurations: PTO powered (any tractor with a 540 RPM PTO shaft and more than 45 horsepower), 480 volt 3 phase electric, or the Kubota V1505 33HP diesel engine package.

The Japa 505 Pro is extremely easy to operate with one hand joystick control of infeed / sawing / splitting functions. Push the joystick up and to the left to infeed the log, hold the bottom electric trigger and the saw will perform the cut for you, pull the top trigger on the joystick to engage the split cycle – which then cycles forward and back automatically. With included Perfect Split technology in the 505, the machine will continue to re-split automatically until the split chamber is empty. Perfect Cut technology utilizes an automatic chain tensioning 21″ saw barOptional hydraulic log racks are available for this machine – we recommend the 472 3 chain rack for best optimal performance. A 4.2M / 13.8′ powered outfeed conveyor is standard with this machine.

If you have a machine shipped via partial flatbed or hotshot, you will need a piece of equipment for unloading. Such as a forklift, tractor or skid steer with pallet forks and sufficient lifting capacity.
If you choose to pickup your machine at the factory, we can offer on site training and demonstration of your machine to you at no additional charge.
